The Stables cottage is a single level holiday cottage with luxury hotel style bathroom. With full size bath and shower & light up vanity mirror. The master bedroom has a king size bed while a children’s room is also available with triple bunkbeds (not suitable for adults).
The holiday cottage has been recently converted from a stone barn that used to house miniature horses! The cottage features a wood fired hot tub (available for £50 per stay) and a fully enclosed garden to keep your dog safe with lawn and overhanging trees. The cottage has a fire pit, BBQ and picnic bench (all BBQ tools supplied).

The windows of the cottage overlook the garden and the woodland beyond. Why not explore our 8 acres of woodland, meadows, stream and lakes on site. Right next door is Dunsland National Trust & Forestry Commission with 200 acres of parkland and woods. You can even walk to the pub (we have a handy video guide on YouTube so you don’t get lost!).
Ask us for ideas of where to run, cycle or walk and we’re always on hand to provide you with top tips.

If you have booked direct with us, please feel free to arrive any time after 3pm. If you have booked via airbnb or booking.com check in is from 4pm. You can book self check-in, or we’ll be happy to welcome you in person.
Please note that Stables cottage has 12 steps to the cottage from the parking spot. The driveway has a steep incline. There is an additional step to enter the accommodation. Please see our full terms and conditions here.
